I am sorry it took so long to update this. Our baby boy arrived healthy and strong on September 18th at 5:40 pm. He weighted 7lbs 7oz and was 19 1/2 inches long. He is so precious and we praise God for him :)

I had to show you his precious hand and foot. I love being a mom and I pray everyday for the Lord to guide me in this journey.

Diaper Bag!

Here is the diaper bag I made out of one of my husbands uniforms that had gotten ripped.

This week I am 36 weeks along!! I am getting close to meeting this little one! I am so excited but the baby needs to wait at least a week to make his/her appearance. We have been trying to get everything ready for baby's arrival, we got a car seat now and just need a few things. I have been trying to do some cleaning but I get tired so easy and I don't want to over do it! Well I hope you enjoy my pictures!

Baby Stuff!

Here are some baby things I have been working on. First is a pocket diaper,

I have made 7 of them now!

This is the baby blanket I was working on and now finished!

Here are bibs that have the days of the week on them. They were kind of a cheater project for me because you just cut around them and sew bias tape around the edge.

I am now 32 weeks pregnant and getting very excited to meet our little blessing! There are still things we need to get before baby comes but I am confident that the Lord will provide!

Maternity shirt and baby blanket!

I know I have not been on here lately. I have a few projects to share with you
first this is my first maternity shirt that I have made.

Here is the sleeve, it is a petal sleeve and may look familiar because it was on my bridesmaid dresses and flower girls dresses. It is my new favorite!

Also I am working on knitting a baby blanket!
Here is my working progress. It is about half done.

Here is a close up of the border on it. It has hearts knitting in to the design.

I hope you have enjoyed the pictures of my projects. I am going to start making my own cloth diapers and will post pictures when done! I am now 21 weeks pregnant and very excited to meet this little one! We have still a lot to do to be ready for baby. God is good though and we have been very blessed!

Hawaii and news!!

We have been here in Hawaii now for just over a month! This picture was taken at a lookout. It is beautiful here! I do miss my family though. We found out a couple of weeks ago that we are going to have a baby!! Due in September and we are so excited!!!! I started making a pair of baby socks and will post a pic when they are finished, they are cute and my husband said they are so small they barely fit on his fingers!
