Goings on lately...
I was going to do a project review but I haven't really made that many crafts lately so here is what I have been up to lately. Here is a dress I made my daughter for her first birthday and the dolly dress to match!
They turned out so cute! Also I organized our kitchen junk drawer, it needed it badly!
Here it is before..
and after! So much better, no more digging!
Lastly here is homemade peanut butter in my vita-mix! I love this thing it can do so much! It was a first for me. I knew other people who did it so I decided to give it a try. Pretty easy and tasty! I hope you enjoyed seeing at least a little of what I have been up to! The kids are getting so big! Catherine just turned 1 and I am finally working on getting Clayton into the toddler bed instead of the crib.

Citrus Lane-Subscription Box
I know I haven't been on here much lately and I am trying to decide what I want to post about. Well I thought I would start with a post about something I have been getting for quite a while now. It is a subscription box for kids ages 0-3. I get it for my son who is 2. It is called Citrus Lane. I really enjoy getting packages and have really liked this box. My son likes it too. Basically they send products that they pick out that are good for your childs age and gender.
Here is Januarys box.
This is what it looks like when you open it.
Here is what we got! First we got a fruit pouch. My son loves these and I like that
they are easy to take on the go.
Then we got this shape sorter from Plan Toys. I think this will be a good toy for on the go.
Next we got this stuff for upset tummy. I don't give my son much but we will see if we use this.
It is all natural!
Lastly we got this adorable lunch sack from Skip Hop. I really like Skip Hop bags they are so cute. We recently got a monkey backpack for my son and an owl one in the smaller size for my daughter. I am sure this will come in handy when packing a lunch for the beach, pool or park!
There you have it our Citrus Lane box. If you want to get one for yourself (items are different every month) or give one as a gift you can click my link and get $10 off your first box. https://www.citruslane.com/invitedby/citrus.lane.958372
I hope you enjoyed this and I will try to post again soon!

Breastfeeding offensive?
I have been talked to recently about my breastfeeding at church and at Bible study. They say it makes someone uncomfortable when I breast feed. Now know that I always cover while at church except when I was just with ladies and I try hard to not draw attention though sometimes it is impossible not to.
The point of this post is not to point fingers or anything but I am surprised at how offensive people think breastfeeding is. God made my breasts to make milk for my baby and you find that offensive? I guess I am bothered that young ladies or any ladies for that matter may come in with a low cut top and/or mini skirt and not be ask to cover up but I sit down cover up and nurse and I am the one that is offending someone?! Why is it so backwards. I believe in modesty so I cover up or nurse in a way that you can see very little. I am not saying we should go around in pull out our boobs to make a point. I am just saying we should see this as a beautiful thing that God created! Isn't amazing that we as women can make a baby, deliver that baby and feed that baby without needing anything (but of course our husbands)! (I know sometimes you can't have a natural childbirth or maybe breastfeeding doesn't work for some reason.) God made our bodies to do amazing things and I will continue to feed my baby the way I believe is best and I shouldn't be made to feel bad about doing it.

Our 4th of July!
Our 4th of July was pretty low key. We stayed home most of the day and my husband worked on the cars. Then in the evening we went and watched fireworks! Where we were was nice not crowded and it wasn't loud which was good for the kids! They didn't seem to last a really long time but it was fun anyway!

THM Birthday!
I am not going to tell you everything about the book you will have to check it out yourself! Anyway I will give you a little detail so you can understand my meals. There are 3 basic meals and add ons. First is the S meal or satisfying meal, E energizing meal and fuel pull. Then there is also Crossover which is when you eat S+E to put it simply and S helpers. S meal is higher in fat very low carbs, E meal has more carbs very low fat but still don't over do the carbs. A crossover you eat about even fat and carbs and don't forget to eat lots of protein! I recommend reading the book as they explain it better.
My Breakfast. An S meal. 3 egg omelet with a red pepper and some cheddar cheese!
Lunch I didn't take a picture. I think it was a crossover. It was left over creamy cheesy chicken with salsa and a few kidney beans.
Dinner I also have no picture. This was also an S. It was speedy thin crust pizza with peppers, cheese and sundried tomatoes on it. Last my cake! This is an S dessert. Special occasion chocolate cake. I made it with xilitol instead of stevia because that is what I had. It tasted pretty good!
So that was my birthday meals. If you have any questions feel free to ask and you can find the book on their website trimhealthymama.com or amazon.com also has it.
Other then my meals we didn't really do anything to celebrate my birthday because my husband had to work late. I kind of want to go see Despicable Me 2 so maybe this weekend sometime we will go.
God Bless!
