I did it, I finished my 1890's Blouse and Skirt! I started this project in April. I need to work faster. I finished it in June. I showed them in the fair and got an Outstanding on the blouse!!
The Gibson Girl blouse.

The front is gathered into a yolk, it has sleeves that are 3/4 legth and gather into the cuff.

The back also has a yolk and buttons down it. ( I only made real button holes for 4 of the buttons the other ones are just sewn on.) It also has a tie around the waist. The blouse is made out of 1 1/2 yards of a calico print.

The Circular Bell skirt. The front of the skirt.

It is longer in the back and pleated into the waist band to fit. I used a Brown twill and lined it with cotton. The skirt had about 5-6 yards of fabric plus it is fully lined!
I think of Anne of Green Gables when I see this outfit!
I am hoping to wear it this fall. It is very warm for the summer.
