Our 4th of July was pretty low key. We stayed home most of the day and my husband worked on the cars. Then in the evening we went and watched fireworks! Where we were was nice not crowded and it wasn't loud which was good for the kids! They didn't seem to last a really long time but it was fun anyway!

THM Birthday!
I am not going to tell you everything about the book you will have to check it out yourself! Anyway I will give you a little detail so you can understand my meals. There are 3 basic meals and add ons. First is the S meal or satisfying meal, E energizing meal and fuel pull. Then there is also Crossover which is when you eat S+E to put it simply and S helpers. S meal is higher in fat very low carbs, E meal has more carbs very low fat but still don't over do the carbs. A crossover you eat about even fat and carbs and don't forget to eat lots of protein! I recommend reading the book as they explain it better.
My Breakfast. An S meal. 3 egg omelet with a red pepper and some cheddar cheese!
Lunch I didn't take a picture. I think it was a crossover. It was left over creamy cheesy chicken with salsa and a few kidney beans.
Dinner I also have no picture. This was also an S. It was speedy thin crust pizza with peppers, cheese and sundried tomatoes on it. Last my cake! This is an S dessert. Special occasion chocolate cake. I made it with xilitol instead of stevia because that is what I had. It tasted pretty good!
So that was my birthday meals. If you have any questions feel free to ask and you can find the book on their website trimhealthymama.com or amazon.com also has it.
Other then my meals we didn't really do anything to celebrate my birthday because my husband had to work late. I kind of want to go see Despicable Me 2 so maybe this weekend sometime we will go.
God Bless!
Trim Healthy Mama
For Mothers Day my husband bought me this book! I had been asking for it. Since then I have been trying to eat this way and so I am going to be sharing with you some of the food and some of my journey!
For starters as you know I am not that over weight. I am just hoping to lose a few extra pounds from pregnancy and also hope to have more energy and be overall healthier. My first struggle with this diet is not eating sugar. I think I am addicted to sugar. I love cookies, brownies, candy and just about anything sweet. I also love snack foods. Anything easy to munch on crackers, chips, granola, dried fruit... You can have nuts and some fruit as long as it isn't sweetened and most dried fruit is.
Anyway so far I am doing pretty good with a few cheat meals here and there especially weekends and holidays. I was good for my birthday though! That will be my next post!
I'm Back!
I am back! Sorry I haven't blogged in about 7 months. Wow that was longer then I thought. Well a lot has happened since I blogged last. First our little girl joined our family on February 17th at 8:46pm. She is so precious and such a joy! CM does pretty good with her too! Second my husband reenlisted so I will be a Navy wife for 5 more years! Third we got a new camera! A canon t3i and I really like it and think it takes great pictures!
I haven't been sewing much but in May a lady at church asked me to make her daughter a dress for her husbands homecoming and I was more then happy to make it! I was excited to sew again and also it was a fun project. Here a couple pictures of the finished dress!

The back
I still haven't done much sewing but really want to make a couple dresses for our little girl. Anyway things are going so well. I am still breastfeeding our little girl and it is going great! We have a great church and I have made new friends and I have had to say good-bye to quite a few this year and I know more next year :( That is how it goes with the military I guess. I am thankful for Facebook though so I can stay in touch.
I suppose I will end this post but I am determined to write more often and not go so long again.
May God Bless You!
